Editing Crimson Wolves

=Overview=

The Crimson Wolves are a group of pirates. Their leader is the self-proclaimed “pirate lord” Montez Lycanis, a disgraced Imperial noble. While there are no accurate recordings regarding their firepower, weaponry and fleet size, the Crimson Wolves were capable of inflicting severe casualties across the Forge colonies in the Empire owned Kepler system as well as attacking multiple targets in Federation owned systems in the past.

=Encounter in the Kepler System=

The group is already a known threat to the individual factions. The pirates, however, gained the council’s attention only after they targeted several planets in the Kepler system after the unrest around Kepler-7. Since the Kepler system remains on the border of Empire and Union territory this incident fell under the Universal Council’s jurisdiction.

The council decided to send a council fleet under Ivona Craine’s (link to her site) command to attack the Crimons Wolves’ command ship. During this quick assault Ivona Craine was able to take Montez Lycanis captive and bring him to the Empire’s Inner Rim. However, the Empire refused to disclose to the Universal Council whether or not Montez was alive at the time.

After the offensive ended the Crimson Wolves command ship as well as their fighters and five squadrons of the council’s forces suddenly disappeared in an unknown phenomenon described as a flash of solid light by witnesses.

The remaining fighters of the Crimson Wolves that in the meantime had attacked the Forge colonies retreated after the assault on the command ship and have not been sighted since.
