Roles
The Planet Quest Discord server is always in motion and with a fluid hierarchy. Arranged from the top to the ground:
Universal Council[edit | edit source]
They are the founders of the project. Not to be confused with the in-game Universal Council.
Moderators[edit | edit source]
They are chosen by UC as the guards or peace keepers of the server. From maintaining order, peace, a family friendly atmosphere, clearing misunderstandings, answering questions to giving commendations, they are eager and ready to help around. Their mission engages upon English speaking channels and also non-speaking channels.
Process of selection: applicants have to be on the Discord server and complete an application. Once it is completed, please wait patiently while the members of the UC are checking your application.
Diligent Citizens[edit | edit source]
It is given to those who are active on Discord. It is said that it is automatically given at a certain number of words, although isn’t certain, nor at which number...
Citizens[edit | edit source]
They are people from the Planet Quest server. It is given automatically once you register through the official website and connect your Discord account.
Server Booster[edit | edit source]
Those who boost the server, there is a private channel called #superfans for them.
Ambassadors[edit | edit source]
There are 2 separate entities that share the same name. They are community-chosen ambassadors and the UC Ambassadors Program.
- Community Ambassadors: created from the need and desire of the people to make sure that are heard by the UC. They were meant to sustain constant communication with the Universal Council (to present the concerns of the community, propose events, solve issues) and follow-up to announce the changes and what’s next to come. They are also meant to stabilize communications and peace between all three factions, as voting with hate and bad disputes would become a problem. In total there are 15 ambassadors - 5 from each faction, in a rotation system. So the 15 ambassadors would be rotated at one point after a period of time.
- UC Ambassadors Program: made by officials in a successful attempt to get the community more involved into the project. You would have to be a member of the server and submit an application. Once the submission would be completed you would get the role of Candidate Ambassador (Events/Translator/Content). Once the review of your application is over and approved you’ll get the role that you applied for and gain access to respective channels.
Translators[edit | edit source]
They are the people who take the various texts, announcements, content paragraphs and translate them for non-speaking English channels. The exact name of the role is Ambassador Translator.
Content Creator[edit | edit source]
They create PlanetQuest-based content in order to educate and raise awareness about the project. From blogs, voice overs, videos, fanmade stories, stickers to anything creative you can come up with. The exact name of the role is Ambassador Content Creator.
Event Coordinator[edit | edit source]
They suggest, organize and watch over different events happening in the Discord server. The exact name of the role is Ambassador Events.
Pioneer[edit | edit source]
Automatically given to users who took part in the first planet sale and mint planets. There is a channel created specifically for them called #🛸║pioneers .
Faction Role[edit | edit source]
It is gained immediately after registration and entering the Discord server. There are 3 roles based on which faction you chose: Union, Empire or Federation.
